The 8th December 2007 was a dark and very wet day in Lymm this
year. People still turned out to brave the elements in their Victorian
attire with umbrellas as a must accessory!

The Morris Dancers still put on a good show keeping the crowds
entertained. The Piped Band played their hearts out, while the children
went round on the roundabouts enjoying themselves. Punch and Judy
still found time to beat each other up, not sure that’s PC
              anymore, but everyone enjoyed it!
Billy Connolly once said, “There is nothing wrong with the
weather, people just wear the wrong clothes”
All the shops dressed their windows, making the village picturesque
as usual for this time of the year. Lymm Radio was again an excellent
feature to the lead up to the Dickensian weekend.
We hope people managed to see the display of Lymm Artists art work
in the Village Hall and visited the shops and stalls for all your
              Christmas presents!
Lymm Net would like to thank everyone for their support and wish
everyone a Great Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Thanks to Gill Fox for taking pictures
