Wednesday 24th April at 8-00pm
For many years, Lymm Youth Club has catered for the needs
of young adults in our Community, offering them an alternative
to hanging around on the Cross.
Clubs of this nature were once "all the rage",
with Youth Club Culture being a vital part of growing up when
a sense of belonging was an important aspect in a young person's
life.

Over the last few years however, a change in society, especially
for the young, has led to the feeling that being part of a
group is "no longer cool" and that being part of
a club, had "no street cred".
As we move further into the 21st Century however, the belief
at Lymm Youth Club is that the need for a facility such as
exists in the heart of our Community, is more essential than
ever, if the problems associated with our larger towns and
cities, are to be avoided.
The people of Lymm own the building, but the club inside,
needs their help.
Several local people have recently joined the small existing
Management Committee, and are trying to regenerate the clubs
fortunes.
We would like to hear from people in Lymm who have skills
in Marketing, Computers, Maintenance, Fund Raising, and who
have a few hours a month to come and join the team.
Why not come and have a look at the potential. The possibilities
are there to do something very special for the youth of the
Community, and as such for the Community as a whole.
In addition, help and support is needed for the Youth work
that is so fundamental to the success of the Club.
So please don't sit back and be critical of the Youth of
Lymm, when the opportunity is here to do something very positive
for the future of Lymm.

Alternatively come to the AGM on Wednesday 24th April at
8-00pm at the Club. Go on, you may surprise yourself.
