Tribute to Lymm from Florida

We were sent this email from Leendert Don from Florida. His wife Mavis, (formerly Mavis Broome) was born in Lymm and although she has resided in the U.S. since 1946 her attachment to Lymm, and her homeland are still very strong.

In Florida they recently introduced a new license plate and this plate pays tribute to those that perished on board the space shuttle Challenger and Columbia.

Mavis selected 'Lymm' for her personalised number plate as a tribute to our little village in Cheshire, and needless to say she is very proud of it.
